To the people who are wondering Kokoro connect(K.C) just came out with episode 17 and with then end of the break the 14th episode aired showing a the same entity possesses Mr. Go we see that a new conundrum comes to play where their emotions become amplified. While just seconds ago in the episode we find out that Taichi asks Iori out now it seems that everyone can hear what each other is thinking.
It started off pretty well and the art is normal but I think the actual story itself is slow it focuses more on the human emotion and the "in the moment scenes" rather than action.
While most people could argue that K.C doesn't have much of a plot, it actually has something far more vital a concept. Concepts are hard to think of, they're usually something cliche such as strife or friendship but K.C has something else. Its concept begs the question of what makes a personality? While most animes are there for enjoyment this one really got me thinking what makes a personality. Whenever i ask someone they say "who you are" or "what makes you, you" but that doesn't make much sense.
While most people will give that answer others can't help but really think about the question, K.C makes you think about, because for some reason even changing someone body can't mean their personality is changed.
While K.C showed a more psychological point to a question which is more philosophical than taught of, it does miss a plot. Even though i said a plot wasn't the only thing an anime should have it is important. A plot can make it and break and while this one did have one small one it wasn't exaggerated In all sense most of the episodes weren't very memorable.
Most the time the plot was moved with dialogue which is risky thing to do in an anime and this is a prime example.
K.C was beautifully done but could have been better, all in all I give it a 2 and a half out of 5
